If Queens of the Stone Age and Interpol got into a bar fight, the cacophony they'd create might resemble the music of The Supplements. At least that's what they'd have you believe. But the particular brand of modern rock the band most enjoys playing may vaguely remind you of many of the great turn of the century rock bands. As many of their heroes have proven, from The Strokes to Arctic Monkeys, all you need are two guitars, a bass, some drums, and some words to sing.
Though their band name was given to them by Jack White,
The Supplements hope to bring real meaning to that title by supplementing their own personal sounds with those of their influences, ranging from The Police to Rumspringa and further on to many artists outside the realm of
rock and roll.
